I note you don't actually refute any of the many arguments he makes to support his headlines, but are instead lamenting that the reality he writes about is making you feel bad.

He frequently writes about how Putin's calculus is that the West is weak. It opts for convenience and personal comfort over hard reality.

Articles like this make it seem like he may be dead on.
