Ok, so where are the massive rallies and protests for the Uyghurs, Armenians, residents of Darfur, Rwanda, etc. Where are all the flag emojis and TikTok vids? There is and has never been anything approaching this massive media and protest blitz on any of those other issues, and it’s ridiculous to claim otherwise.
You also don’t see widespread worldwide violence towards the ethnic group labeled as “oppressor” in those other conflicts.
Chinese citizens worldwide aren’t threatened and attacked over the Uyghurs. Muslims aren’t threatened over Darfur, or Boko Haram, or ISIS, or unrest in Paris, or, notably, killing 1400 Israelis in one of the most brutal and evil attacks in history. That “honor” is reserved for the Jews.
Regarding Palestinian national identity… come on.
The West Bank was part of Jordan in 1948 after the war. Prior to that, Jordan was part of Mandatory Palestine until it declared independence in 1946.
Just 20 years prior in 1920 before Transjordan was partitioned the Arab Congress was trying to get the now orphaned former Ottoman territory the British named Mandatory Palestine (with Hebrew suffix Eretz Yisrael) declared to be Southern Syria.
It isn’t about national identity and it never has been. The Palestinian flag we see everywhere wasn’t even originally for Palestine, it was from the general Arab revolt against the Ottomans.
